The Appalachian Youth Football League Inc. (AYFLI) is a non-profit youth football league, cheerleading and danceline organization comprised of 12 Northeast Alabama teams from Ashville, Cherokee County, St. Clair, Glencoe, Hokes Bluff, Jacksonville, Mountain Rams, Piedmont, Pleasant Valley, Ragland, Rainbow City, and Southside, who compete each Saturday during the season. AYFL games are played on Saturdays during the months of August-November. Game times vary so check with the team or see their page here on the site for more information.

Age groups for teams are: C-Team players: 5, 6, & 7. B-Team players: 8 & 9 years old. A-Team players: 10, 11, & 12. 

We are committed to providing the best youth football program in the state with special attention to the young players learning how to play safely and grow individually. We appreciate your support of the Appalachian Youth Football League!

The AYFL is dedicated to creating a safe and sportsmanlike environment that will teach young players the skills needed to play football while also mentoring, teaching them teamwork and valuable skills that will benefit them becoming productive adult citizens of their community.
